I have this habit of playing the "what if" game. A lot.
Maybe it's the writer in me who has a tendency
to look back, reflect, wonder, and imagine - what if?
The danger comes when I start to live in the what if.
Because those two words are usually followed by regrets
why certain things did not come to be.
And then, this grand master plan of how
to turn the what if into what is.
But this weekend, I was reminded, why certain
what ifs are what they are (and should remain as they are) ~
just a play on my imagination.
just a play on my imagination.
You see, we make choices in life.
We should trust that the choices we made were made for a reason.
And we made the best choice we can, with all that we had,
at that moment.
So, no regrets.
Live life so there are no what ifs.
